I’m a freelance writer and editor, an independent researcher, private tutor, and historian and thinker at large. I can offer a range of services to clients, from proofreading to writing, from study advice to research support.
My background is in academia. I have a First Class Honours degree and an MA in History, and a PhD which reflects my interests in cultural history and the history of ideas. I’ve been a researcher on two major collaborative scholarly projects, and for several years I was a lecturer in history at Goldsmiths, University of London where I also worked in undergraduate recruitment. I still lecture occasionally at Birkbeck, University of London.
More information about me, my experience and interests, as well as some samples of my writing (a varied selection, including pieces on politics and sport as well as history and education), can be found on this site.
Please contact me if you are interested in my services or would like to work with me–I will consider all projects, both large and small.
